Olivia is a classically trained oboist, working in London. She studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she was awarded the Evelyn Barbarolli Oboe Prize (2015) and the TCM Trust Silver Medal for Wind, Brass and Percussion (2017). A lover of all styles of music, Olivia performed regularly with chamber groups, orchestras and as a soloist throughout her degree.

She plays regularly with orchestras across London including the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonia. She has also performed internationally as a soloist and orchestral musician.

Olivia loves to use the skills that she has learned through her training and performing to educate and engage others with music. She has over ten years of teaching experience and loves to work with musicians of all ages and abilities to help develop their skills and love of music. Olivia’s teaching style is creative, encouraging and inclusive, tailoring lessons to suit the individual needs of each student to get them performing at their very best.
