Florence is a passionate teacher of the viola and violin who is dedicated to helping

students achieve their potential. With experience teaching people of all ages, she

takes a student-centred approach, structuring her lessons around individual goals -

whether that’s preparing for exams or simply playing for personal enjoyment.

Florence’s lessons are supportive, engaging, and tailored to suit each student’s pace

and learning style. She aims to create an environment where students feel motivated

and confident.

Florence is a studying as the Milton Grundy Foundation Award Holder at the Royal

College of Music with Andriy Viytovych. In 2023-2025 she was supported as the

Jean Middlemiss Award Holder. She has played in masterclasses with world

renowned professionals such as Maxim Rysanov and Tasmin Little OBE. Florence

enjoys chamber music and orchestral playing - a former member of the National

Youth Orchestra of Great Britian and a recipient of the 2025 Boconnoc Music Award

– she believes playing with others is such an important part of music and

incorporates this into her teaching.
